When to use memorial candles

Will a 4 in candle fit my lantern?
Measure the inside height of your lantern from the base to the vent or lid and leave room above the flame. If there is plenty of room, the 5.7 in inserts burn as a taller candle in the same kind of lantern.
Why these are outdoor candles
Paraffin candles give off a slight scent as they burn, which is no problem in the open air. That is why these refills are made for outdoor lanterns and holders rather than for use indoors.
Safety
- Set the lantern on firm, level ground, away from dry grass, wreaths and ribbons.
- Light the wick with a long lighter and close the lantern so the flame is sheltered.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
